About; Ilemela Municipal Council is located on the South side of Lake Victoria. The West is bordered by Lake Victoria, the East is bordered by Magu District Council and the South by Mwanza City Council. This Council is located between Latitude, 2015’ and 2031’ South of the Equator line, and is located between Longitude 320 45’ and 330 East. Ilemela Municipal Council is one of the eight Mwanza Regional Councils. Other councils include Ukerewe Council, Magu District Council, Mwanza City Council, Misungwi District Council, Kwimba District Council, Buchosa Council and Sengerema District Council.
Following the Employment Announcement with Ref. And. AB.53/172/01A/12 dated 20/06/2023 which provided job vacancies for the Street Executive, the Director of the Ilemela Municipal Council wishes to inform all applicants who applied for the positions and meet the criteria, to come to the screening interview that will be held on 6 January 2024 at two o’clock in the morning (02:00) at Bujingwa Secondary School located near the Ilemela Municipal Council Offices – BUSWELU and then those who fail the interview will be interviewed on 07.012023 at the Ilemela Municipal Council Hall . Interviewees who will attend the selection interview should follow the following instructions:-
- The interviewees must come with the original certificates from Form Four (iv), Six (vi), Diploma i.e NTA level 5 (transcript and certificate) as well as birth certificate.
- Each interviewee should have identification for identification, and accepted identifications include National ID (NIDA), voter’s ID, Resident ID, passport and driver’s license.
- The Ilemela Municipal Director’s Office will not be responsible for the costs of food, travel and accommodation for the interviewees.
- Job applicants whose names did not appear in this announcement should note that they did not meet the required qualifications and criteria and are therefore advised to apply again when the job vacancies are announced.
- The list of interviewees called for the interview is as shown in the table below.
