Trainee Chemist job vacancy at Lake Cement Ltd is a specialist in cement manufacturing with a state-of-the-art fully integrated cement plant, with a captive 10MW thermal power plant. Our plant is located in the Kigamboni district of Dar es Salaam and has an installed capacity of 600,000 MT per annum.

POSITION: TRAINEE CHEMIST
DEPARTMENT: QUALITY CONTROL
REPORT TO: HOD.
EDUCATION: DEGREE
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/ Bachelor of Technology in Laboratory Science
EXPERIENCE 2-5 years of experience (cement)
RESPONSIBILITY
- Carrying out chemical and Physical analysis of raw materials,in-process materials, final products, and fuel and special samples.
- To ensure the testing carried out by TBS norms.
- Preparation of standard solution & Calibration of Lab equipment.
- Ensure Safety and housekeeping in the lab.
- Proper unkeep of all equipment including XRF and calibration/maintenance of the same.
- Other related jobs assigned by HOD/seniors/supervisors.
