Rorya District is a district in Mara Region, United Republic of Tanzania. The district capital is the small town of Ingri Juu, while the largest town is Shirati. The district was created in 2007 from a part of Tarime District. It is bordered by Tarime District to the east, Butiama District to the south, Lake Victoria to the west, and the Republic of Kenya to the north. The majority of inhabitants are from the Luo tribe. Other ethnic group is Kurya. Kine, Simbiti,Sweta and Hacha are sub-groups within Kurya ethnic group

Rorya District Director in collaboration with AMREF Health Africa Tanzania through the project named “Afya Thabiti” is inviting all qualified Tanzanians to apply for employment opportunities as described below:
- All applicants must be citizens of Tanzania and have an age of 18 years and no more than 45 years.
- All applicants must attach a copy of the birth certificate and citizenship ID (NIDA) or NIDA number for those who have not obtained an ID
- All applicants should attach personal information (Detail CV) with addresses and phone numbers available as well as the names of three reliable referees
- All applications must be accompanied by educational and professional certificates, i.e. a copy of the fourth or sixth form certificates and professional certificates (Professional certificates from Respective Board, Computer Certificates) along with two recent color photographs.
- Testimonial, provisional results, statement of results, document of the results of the fourth and sixth forms will not be accepted at all.
- Applicants who studied outside of Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (NECTA and NACTE) and the information of conformity should be attached to the application
- Applicants for employment opportunities retired in the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Secretary General Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance
- The application letter must be written by hand and in Kiswahili or English otherwise the application will not be accepted.
- The title of the application letter should clearly mention the cadre position you are applying for
- The application letter must be signed by the applicant himself otherwise the application will be rejected
- Submitting information and falsifying qualifications to the parties will be taken legal action Applicants who meet the qualifications and criteria will be notified of the date of the interview through the Rorya District Council notice boards, Rorya District Council Website which includes the phone numbers and addresses they used in the letter of application.
- Letters should be sent by post or delivered by hand to the open registers of the Rorya District Council from half past one (1.30) in the morning to half past nine (09.30) in the afternoon
- The deadline for sending job applications is on 22/09/2023 at half past nine (09.30) in the afternoon
