The Town Director is inviting all citizens of Korogwe who are qualified and who are ready to work to collect Taxes/Revenues from their various sources of income to send applications.
Korogwe Town Council
Korogwe Town Council is one of the eleven Councils in Tanga region and was created in 2005 after the growth of the Town Authority that existed since 1996-1997. Korogwe Town Council is located in the central part of the Region and surrounded by other areas of Korogwe District (surrounded by Korogwe District Council) except for Handeni District in the south. It is located in latitude 50 and 5014′ S and in longitude 38023′ and 30033′ E.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT.
- Must have graduated from Fourth Form (IV) Education
DUTIES AND DUTIES OF TAX/REVENUE COLLECTOR
- Collect the tax at the source of the income you will pay
- Maintaining the POS machine and keeping it in a safe condition
- Ensuring the funds of the collections are deposited in the bank on time and
- Submitting the receipt of payment to the Revenue officer

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- The applicant must be between 18 and 45 years old.
- The applicant should write his names correctly
- The applicant must attach a copy of the NIDA ID, birth certificate, education/vocational certificates, personal resume (CV), identification letter from the local or village government and a photo (passport size) 1
- Applicants who meet the criteria and will be included in the list of recommendations will be notified through their phone numbers.
- Letters of application should be written in English/Kiswahili
- Applicants who do not comply with the above instructions will not be processed.
- All applications should be sent to the Town Director’s office.
