As a Business Development Officer in the Automotive Industry, you will collaborate with Recroot Africa to drive strategic business development initiatives for our esteemed client. Reporting to the Director, you will be instrumental in expanding market reach and fostering valuable partnerships.
- Market Analysis and Research:
Conduct comprehensive market research within the automotive industry to identify trends and potential clients.
Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics, contributing to informed business development strategies.
- Client Acquisition:
Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with potential clients, focusing on client acquisition and expanding the customer base.
Implement effective strategies to secure new business opportunities.
- Strategic Partnerships:
Evaluate and pursue strategic partnerships to enhance our position in the automotive market.
Lead negotiations and establish collaborations that drive mutual business growth.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies, aiming to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Craft compelling proposals for prospective clients, showcasing the value of our services.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Collaborate closely with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sales.
- Minimum of five years of proven experience in sales, specifically within large organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in market research and analysis to identify market trends and develop targeted marketing strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with guerrilla marketing techniques and successful implementation in a dual sales and marketing context.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Candidates must possess a valid Class B Driving License.
- Candidates must be Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swahili.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- The candidate must be a Tanzanian Citizen with the age from 30n to 45 12. Clean Certificate of Conduct.
- This role is based in Tanzania.
- The position is subject to a 3-month probation period, with the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion.
