Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management based on financial reports.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identifying any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of budget assumptions.
3. Cost Analysis:
- Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Provide financial insights on the impact of cost changes on overall business performance.
4. Internal Controls:
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as requested by auditors.
5. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Support strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial analysis and projections.
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential investments or business expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (CPA or its equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the Leasing or Financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation regulations.
- Proficient in using financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
