Job description

To manage the ICT Portfolio end to end and responsible for the management, strategy and execution of ICT Infrastructure for the organization Delivery Technical Projects, ICT Security, processes and DR system

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware and Software Life Management
  2. Migration of Business Support System to Cloud
  3. Sympathetically and empathetically guide and support all end users in the use and development of ICT facilities across the School
  4. Manage & Implement Computer Systems
  5. Manage Hardware & Software Life Cycle
  6. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a secure and efficient network system in School
  7. Manage troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary
  8. Implementation and establish a School Management System
  9. Data Centre Management (Server, Storage and Backup management)
  10. Physical Security Management (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion)
  11. Network & Security Management (Manage Network devices and ensure protect the network and data from breaches, intrusion and other threats)
  12. Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Computer and stations and software
  13. Manage /Coordinate the purchasing of all software, hardware and other ICT supplies
  14. Manage Business Support Systems, (TASS)
  15. Patch Management – scanning, detect and patching
  16. Virtual Learning Environment Administration
  17. IP-PABX Administration
  18. Coordinate Monthly IT Site Survey
  19. End User Support – Provide support when a user encounters a problem with software or applications
  20. Ensure all school safe wore and ICT resources have suavity measures to protect student’s and school equipment virus
  21. Ensure support with devices for Teaching and learning
  22. Conduct Monthly ICT Site Survey
  23. Submission of Monthly Reports on timely basis
  24. Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in ICT or Equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT
  • Relevant updated professional ICT certificates to support the position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
