We would like to inform students applying for educational loans at the Diploma level and the general public that the window for submitting applications through the Internet will be open until Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Originally, the window opened on Saturday, October 7, 2023 and was scheduled to close today, Sunday, October 22, 2023.

The decision to extend the period of seven (07) days aims to provide an opportunity for qualified applicants who have not applied or completed their applications to apply and complete their applications within the extended period.


It will be remembered that in the academic year 2023-2024, the Government has allocated an amount of TZS 48 billion for loans to diploma students admitted in priority fields.

Those fields are Health and Allied Sciences; Education (Education); Transport & Logistics; Engineering and Energy (Energy Engineering); Mining & Earth Science; and Agriculture and Livestock (Agriculture & Livestock).

Following the extension of seven (07) days to submit applications, students are strongly advised to read the ‘Educational Loans Guide for Diploma Students for 2023-2024’ available on the HESLB website (, NACVET ( and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (
