Claim Officers – 3 Posts

Responsibilities
- Collecting accurate information and documents for claim processing.
- Providing advice on the claim-making process.
- Processing new insurance claims notifications.
- Verifying the validity of information provided by claimants, consultants, and other sources.
- Responding to internal and external customer queries regarding the claim process.
- Processing claims within a reasonable time.
- Adhering to applicable insurance laws and guidelines.
- Performing other duties consistent with assigned responsibilities by the supervisor.

Requirements and Skills
- Proven insurance experience.
- Hands-on experience with the “smart policy System,” analytical tools, and statistical packages (spreadsheets, etc.).
- Sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Confident decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of insurance policies and the ability to relate policy provisions to loss exposures.
- Proven numeracy and statistical skills.
- Degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
Remuneration
Remuneration will be in accordance with the ZIC salary scales and other terms and conditions.
