European Solidarity Corps (ESC) job vacancy at WeWorld. Thanks to the international volunteering initiative European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps, part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) promoted and financed by the European Union, you can apply as a volunteer for a unique humanitarian aid experience in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. (Benin, Mozambique, Kenya, Tunisia, Bolivia, Brazil, Nicaragua, Cambodia, Lebanon, Moldova and Tanzania).

WeWorld is dedicated to upholding the values of inclusion, diversity, and equality throughout the hiring process. It is encouraged for youths who are not presently enrolled in school or working (NEETs) as well as members of vulnerable populations to participate.Young persons between the ages of 18 and 35 who are lawfully resident in an EU member state or another nation included in the program (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Turkey, and the Republic of North Macedonia) are eligible to participate in the initiative.

You will have the chance to take part in different trainings and be monitored by local professionals during your volunteering time. You will have the opportunity to observe directly WeWorld’s national programs in close proximity to local people. Through this experience, you’ll be able to push yourself and advance not just professionally

You are entitled to extra ad hoc support if you find yourself in a challenging or disadvantageous circumstance (financial, physical, geographical, etc.). Ensure that you convey it in the interview!

How to take part

Recall that you must first register on the European Youth Portal and finish both online and in-person trainings before you can apply for a position.

Although the list of positions and profiles will be released in the spring, we advise you to begin taking the following actions right away:

  • Create a profile on the portal of the European Solidarity Corps;
  • Make sure you choose the “I want to be considered for the volunteer opportunities in humanitarian aid” option.
  • Participate in the online course offered by the EU Academy, namely the “Humanitarian aid training.” There are 20–25 hours in the training;
  • Finish the last test and take a self-evaluation;
  • After passing the exam, you can use the EU Academy to indicate your interest in receiving in-person training;
  • Once the five days of in-person training are over, you are prepared to apply for any position!
