The Executive Director of the Ludewa District Council announces Tanzanians who have the qualifications and interest to work in the Ludewa District Council to apply for the job vacancies mentioned below, after receiving the permit with Ref. FA.228/613/01/025 dated 08 December 2023 from the Secretary General, Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance.
VACANCY: VILLAGE EXECUTIVE GRADE III- (2 POSITIONS)
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
- Must have graduated from Fourth Form (IV) or Sixth Form (VI)
- Must have graduated with a Diploma in one of the following fields; Law, Social Education, Financial Management, Social Development and Arts Science from Hombolo Local Government College or any College recognized by the Government.
JOB DUTIES
- Chief Executive of the village Government;
- Secretary of the village Committee;
- Coordinator of the implementation of Policies and Laws implemented by the Council in the Village;
- Advisor to the Village Committee on Development Plans in the Village;
- Supervisor of the Implementation of By-Laws and other Laws used in the Village;
- Adviser to the Village Committee on Defense and Security issues;
- Supervisor of the implementation of various strategies related to the elimination of hunger and poverty in the Village;
- Supervising the collection of council revenue and keeping records of taxpayers; and
- He will be responsible to the Ward Executive.
SALARY LEVEL: The salary level is TGS B.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- i. All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens and not more than 45 years of age, except for those who are working in the government;

All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, information, copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney which are certificates of Form Four, Form Six for those who have reached that level and certificates of various trainings based on the qualifications of the relevant work. Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates, -Form IV and VI exam certificate, Computer Certificate, -Professional certificates from respective boards
- vii. “Testmonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, documents for the fourth and sixth forms (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- viii. Applicants who studied outside of Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).
- ix. Applicants retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Chief Secretary.
- x. Job applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions in the public service should not apply and should follow the instructions contained in the Circular and CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
- xi. Submission of information and falsified characteristics of the parties will be taken legal action.
- xii. The deadline for sending job applications is March 5th, 2024.
