Job Summary

This role plays a critical part in transforming data into actionable insights to support NBC business decisions. The Enterprise Analytics Lead is responsible for harnessing data and employing advanced analytics techniques to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize business operations. This role also involves identifying and mining data, performing statistical analyses, applying data visualization techniques, and helping build high quality visualization systems.

Job Description​

  • Apply statistical and machine learning methods to thoroughly analyze datasets in order to find trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • To glean insightful information from data, develop and apply machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and predictive models.
  • To guarantee that data is accurate, consistent, and ready for analysis, extract, clean, and preprocess it from a variety of sources.
  • Make reports and data visualizations that clearly convey insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Employ data visualization technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar solutions.
  • To guarantee data integrity and dependability, put quality control and validation processes into place. As problems and abnormalities with data quality emerge, take action.
  • Work together with IT and data engineering teams to combine and integrate data from many sources to create a cohesive and extensive dataset.
  • Ad hoc analysis should be carried out to address certain business inquiries and offer prompt insights as needed.
  • It is imperative to consistently develop data analysis procedures and models in order to augment the efficacy and efficiency of decision-making based on data.
  • Respect privacy and data security legislation, making sure that data handling and analysis procedures align with applicable policies and laws.

Education and Experience Required

  • Technical or relevant experience in computer science, computer engineering, or data science for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years or more of expertise supporting analytical systems.
  • Five years minimum of experience designing and modeling data.
  • Solid background working as a data analyst, data specialist, or in a position comparable.
  • Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of database structure.
  • Knowledge of compiling and evaluating system requirements.
  • Familiarity with modeling and data mining approaches.
  • Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases and SQL.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • proficiency with data cleaning, exploration, and transformation tools to produce insights that can be put to use.
  • Proficiency in SQL is required to access, modify, and evaluate data kept in relational databases.
  • proficiency with data visualization software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable programs, to produce visually appealing and educational graphs, charts, and dashboards.
  • the capacity to forecast trends and make data-driven forecasts by building data models and applying statistical techniques.
  • Knowing how to collect data from different sources, transform it for analysis, and load it into data warehouses or reporting systems requires an understanding of ETL operations.
  • knowledge of the principles and architecture of data warehousing, such as star schemas and data cubes.
  • a solid grasp of company goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to match organizational objectives with BI solutions.
